Dose Information
Dose basis. Vendors commonly supply the fumarate salt. Potency by weight depends on salt stoichiometry. If 1:1 base:fumaric acid, freebase fraction β0.69; if 2:1, freebase fraction β0.82. Without a certificate of analysis (COA), assume 0.70β0.80 base-equivalent and titrate cautiously. Isomer Design lists freebase MW 260.33 g/mol; fumaric acid adds 116.07 g/mol per mole. If your sample label is ambiguous, weigh as salt and start on the low end. Stability is better as fumarate; store airtight, desiccated, dark, cold to reduce hydrolysis to psilocin. Fumarate salts are waterβsoluble and generally sting less than HCl salts, but intranasal use can still cause irritation. Because the comeβup is faster and steeper, use very small first lines or pre-dilute for volumetric dosing to avoid overshooting. Avoid if you have chronic nasal issues. A great mellow experience. Felt warm and pleasant, definitely will want to try again in a higher dose. One of the nicest half-trips Iβve ever had, actually, and I have had a lot, as they are my favorite way to take psychedelics.
There is chatter about 4-PrO-DMT being a prodrug to 4-HO-DMT, similar to what is conjectured about 4-AcO-DMT. I will say this one experience differed a fair bit from most of my experiences with 4-HO-DMT or 4-AcO-DMT. (Though to be fair it has been severalβ¦
