    Aliases: 3-chloroamphetamine

    Summary dose.wiki

3-CAF is a positional isomer of the neurotoxic para-chloramphetamine (PCA). In vitro work (Urban et al., 2012) indicates potent serotonin and moderate dopamine/noradrenaline release (EC50 โ‰ˆ 35 nM for 5-HT, 280 nM for DA). Neurotoxicity appears reduced compared with PCA but long-term serotonergic depletion has been observed in rat cortex at โ‰ฅ10 mg/kg (Kindred et al., 2015).

    Dose Information Drugs.Wiki

Dose basis. Human data are scarce; ranges largely derive from scattered user reports. Always use an accurate 0.001 g scale, consider an allergy test (โ‰ˆ1โ€“2 mg), and titrate cautiously. Insufficient evidence to support frequent redosing. Faster onset with steeper cardiovascular load and more local irritation. Volumetric dosing recommended to avoid overestimation from hygroscopic powders; avoid repeated lines due to mucosal injury risk. (Dose figures and this note are from Drugs.Wiki.)

Reset 3โ€“7 days for acute; 1โ€“3 weeks for full reset

    Tolerance Decay

Full tolerance 2d Half tolerance 7d Baseline ~30d

Based on general entactogen/stimulant patterns: acute tolerance develops within a session; partial tolerance persists days to weeks, decaying roughly over 2โ€“6 weeks depending on use intensity, sleep, and nutrition.

The PsychonautWiki Journal logging app doesn't include every substance. To track 3-CAF there, start adding an ingestion, search for the name, and choose to add it as a custom substance. Paste these values:

⬇ Download import file Import this file as custom substances and you get "3-CAF (Substance Search)" with every route's full dose ladder and timeline, no typing. Works on iOS and Android (v15+); the format is confirmed by the app's developer. The manual values below work for older versions.

Note: ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription. Start low, go slow, and test your substances.

Tip: for quicker logging you can also add a Custom Unit in the app, e.g. common dose ~ 15 mg (Oral).

The app keeps custom substances simple, so the full dose ranges live in the description text above. Ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription.
